The adjacent village of South Scarle boasts a fabulously stocked Farm Shop where you can purchase the finest quality produce for that gourmet meal. The excellent bakery at North Scarle bakes a wonderful variety of breads, cakes and pies daily.  Within a 5 mile radius there is an abundance of superb country inns serving fine foods and locally brewed ales.

Lincoln's glorious Cathedral and Castle are just 9 miles away with the shopping centre even closer. The historic town of Newark with its street market and individual shops is a ten minute journey. Swinderby Showground is close by; Newark Showground is five miles away and it is only a 20 minute drive to Lincolnshire Showground.  Keen walkers may like a day out in Derbyshire.
